Water jet cutting is optimal for prototypes or small quantity runs, because it eliminates the need for a tool or die, keeping your costs low. For large runs it is more economical to make a tool or die and stamp out the gaskets using a punch press. In some cases gaskets will be manufactured by hand cutting.
